RecoverX Support
RecoverX is a recovery and readiness app for Apple Watch owners. It reads your Apple Health data on your iPhone, scores your recovery with a rule-based engine you can inspect, and explains every number: what moved it, what it was compared against, and what would change it.

Common questions
- How do I cancel my subscription? iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → RecoverX Pro → Cancel. It takes effect at the end of the current period. No tricks, no retention screens.
- Where is my data stored? On your iPhone. Health readings and your score history never leave the device. Two optional features send something out only when you use them: the cloud AI Coach on Pro (your typed questions and a coarse summary of your scores) and Crew (your display name and daily scores, in your own iCloud, shared with the friends you invite). The privacy policy lists exactly what goes where.
- My score says "HRV not included". Why? Apple Watch records overnight HRV only while worn during sleep. If the watch charged overnight, RecoverX says so instead of guessing.
- Why does my first score look confident? Early scores lean on whatever readings already exist, and the card names the signals that are still missing and labels how much to trust the number. A change that declines to score at all when nothing has been recorded is planned for a later update. Until then, read the first week as a warm-up.
- Which HRV does RecoverX use? The one Apple Watch exposes: SDNN. The methodology page inside the app (Settings → How the score works) explains what that means next to the rMSSD studies people usually quote.
- The AI Coach answered on my phone, not from the cloud. Why? The free coach runs entirely on the iPhone with Apple's on-device model, which needs an iPhone that supports Apple Intelligence. Pro adds a cloud model with a daily and weekly message allowance.
- How do I report someone in Crew? Long-press their row → Report. They disappear from your board immediately, and an email opens so you can tell us what happened. Nothing is sent until you send it.
- How does the WHOOP import work? A one-time import of up to 90 days of your WHOOP history so your baseline starts warm. The connection is discarded after the import.
- Is RecoverX a medical device? No. It does not diagnose, treat or screen for any condition. If something about your heart or sleep worries you, talk to a doctor.
